The rough textured look is all the rage, as you probably noticed I’ve happen accross some nice new shades from Gabriella Salvete in precisely rough and sparkly style that’s so very interesting and all the big brands are launching. That’s … Continue reading
These are my latest new purchases from a czech retailer of Barry M and Color Club polishes. I love them, so very much. The Color Club is my first true linear holographic polish. Even if the holo is not as … Continue reading
I’ve been somewhat upset with my nails in the last few months, because they just wouldn’t behave – they wouldn’t grow, they would peel and they would break. So I haven’t been really in a mood for taking any pictures … Continue reading
Oooooooh, finally… My Ebay and Harlow & Co. purchases arrived… What joy!!!
So, firstly – I ordered whole Kleancolor Chunky Holo collection on Ebay, it was delivered in just about excellent condition, the only thing I regret is that I got two Chunky holo Purple and no Chunky Holo Bluebell, which was the 2nd best in whole collection after Chunky Holo Black. As an additional piece, I also got Kleancolor Madly Matte topcoat. As I’ve seen in some of the swatches and videos around the internet, most of the polishes aren’t too special – once you swatch them over black, they looks pretty much the same (with exception of Scarlet – which has the strongest tinted base, and of course the Black, which has different kind of glitter).
Anyway, I’m still pretty pleased by this collection, and I’ll think about what to do with the polishes I don’t particularly need to have (e.g. Candy, Clover, Poppy and one of the Purples)
The second part of this awesome haul is three quite exotic (for my Central European options) polishes from Harlow & Co., which is an awesome Canadian e-shop.
First and foremost – piCture pOlish mask-a-rade! Gorgeous array of multochrome glitters in every colour (like all the Ozotic Elytras in one bottle) – can’t wait to do something pretty awesome with this one
Second best – brazilian brand Mohda – HD multichrome in Vento Solar (solar wind) – gorgeous gold/pink/purple/teal/green multichrome topcoat, which looks best on black, of course. I think it would go well with the mask-a-rade, because the multichrome is in the same colours as the glitters
Last but not least – another brazilian – Kolt Dual Chrome in DC – 01 – Vintage, a pink/green light based duochrome, which will look interesting in all of the darker colours.
Woooow, I’m going to have so much fun with those…
Until next time
Patinage artistique means figure skating in french, but I like the title because it’s the pseudo-artsy way to say artful patina At least for me it is Or you can just stick with the skating, because I think, I’ve seen … Continue reading
Hi, guys… long time no see I’ve been a bit lazy in doing my nails and taking pictures lately… partly because I don’t have that much free time and partly because I’m just plain lazy well… hopefully there will be … Continue reading
Merry Christmas everybody! Hope you all enjoyed your holidays… (insert a bit of sarcasm here, because I had to work on the 24th, which is when we celebrate Christmas here in Czech republic)… mine are very short, unfortunately. But. That … Continue reading
Sorry for the pause, but things have been crazy lately… When been browsing the drugstores, lately I got used to glancing over the MaxFactor stands just to check, if in some mysterious coincidence a Fantasy Fire Max Effect made it’s … Continue reading
I’ve bought the lighter “brushed metal effect” polish by Catrice. And it’s a wonderful beige with gold shimmer. The brushed metal means it’s grainy, so the finish is like the beach sand. I spruced it up with the Glorious Aquarius glitter topper by Essence. I hesitated with buying this glitter since I have so many already, but it is gorgeous. It’s mainly teal and some gold hex glitter, with tiny holo glitter mixed in. I love it.
Preview for tomorrow… birthday nails
